Turn off tooltips in lists (files, symbols)

Hello,
Does anyone know how to disable the tooltips in the various panels (projects, ftp, Defs...)
They are really obtrusive.
I looked everywhere but could not find any way to do it.

In tools-> options -> appearance -> toolbars, select the options tab in the right hand window and un-check "show tool tips"  - or increase the delay.
