Macro to run clearcase version tree
« on: July 20, 2006, 09:47:08 am »
As a macro novice, I was attempting to add an additional menu item to the default ClearCase menu list. This bit is OK. But I wanted to invoke the ClearCase version tree dialogue for the current file. It doesn't work within slick edit and I don't understand why.

Here's wat I have. All help welcome.

_command VersionTree() name_info(','VSARG2_MACRO|VSARG2_MARK|VSARG2_READ_ONLY|VSARG2_REQUIRES_MDI_EDITORCTL)
{
   _macro('R',1);
   execute('C:/Program Files/Rational/ClearCase/bin/clearvtree.exe %F');
}

_command void ccvtree () name_info (','READ_ONLY_ARG2|EDITORCTL_ARG2)
{
   _str cmdline="clearvtree.exe " maybe_quote_filename(p_buf_name);
   shell(cmdline,"AP");
}
