Tools > Options > Appearance > Tool Window & Toolbar Options

Set ToolButtonsAndIcons style to Color.
Close and reopen Options.

Change "Tab Icon Size" to "extra large"
Hit Apply.

Change "Tab Icon Size" to "extra Small"
Hit Apply.

Bug #1: The Preview area for TabIconSize shrinks to the small size, but the icons are still the large size - so they are clipped.

Preview for ToolButtonsAndIcons works correctly.


Oh...after you get Preview for TabIconSize in the bad state above, change ToolButtonsAndIcons style to something else, like green.
The TabIconSize preview is now correct.

Change ToolButtonsAndIcons again, back to color or whatever.
Bug #2: The TabIconSize preview does *not* update.


Bug #3: 
Set ToolButtonIcons Style to color
Set TabIconSize to Small.
Set ToolButtonIcons Style to Orange
Set TabIconSize to ExtraLarge.
Nothing happens.

Set Style to Blue: Now changing the TabIconSize works.

I could not reproduce any of these problems on Windows with a default config.  What platform are you testing on?

Same here.  Either you missed a step, or something else is different.  Are you on remote desktop?

It reliably fails with my upgraded configuration.

It works as expected on a clean configuration.
