Selecting what to paste from the list of clipboards...

Much like complete-next/complete-prev,  there should be a clipboard equivalent.
Oh ... there already is, I just never knew it :-)
Just took a little digging to find it.

paste-next-clipboard -- Very nice!

On a related topic, v22 beta has a new slightly experimental paste-special command. Take a close look at it. It does many of the paste special things you were looking for.
