B2 - Window left margin can't be adjusted

I previously had Window left margin (Options/Appearance/General) set large enough so the bookmark icons didn't cause the text to shift right/left when they were added/removed. VS 22 increased the size of the icons in the left margin, so I tried to increase the window left margin. But changing it doesn't have any effect. I went up to a full inch with no changes.

I'm running Windows 7 x64 on a 1920x1200 display.

I am looking into this problem.

We are also scaling back the size for the window left margin bitmaps for beta3 and improving the drawing.
