VSDiff cmdline - options
« on: August 22, 2017, 09:11:05 PM »
I run Vsdiff from the cmdline, click "Options" and I get this error

---------------------------
SlickEdit Pro
---------------------------
Failed to save configuration to 'C:\users\joe\Documents\SlickEdit\22.0.0\vslick.sta'.

Access denied
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

---------------------------
SlickEdit Pro
---------------------------
Unable to save the configuration

Do you want to correct the problem and try again?

If you can't correct the problem, your configuration changes will be lost.
---------------------------
&Yes   &No

Did this happen as soon as you clicked on the "Options" tab?

I assume you had an editor running with the same configuration directory?

I wasn't able to reproduce this one.

In Slick I have Tools > Options > Application Options > Exit -> SaveConfig == SaveConfigImmediately.
When I change this to save on exit, this problem goes away.

When I hit options, the Diffoptions dialog appears and the error dialog immediately appears on top of it.
