Customize Size of Title Bars, Scroll Bars, and other UI Components
« on: September 08, 2017, 01:57:31 AM »
There used to be a trick that allowed you to go into a SlickEdit file and manually adjust the height, and font of the title bars to make them shorter.  I think you could also adjust the width of borders, scrollbars, and separators.  In my never ending quest to increase the size of the edit window, so that I can see more code, I would like to propose a feature which allows us to minimize parts of the UI away.  You've done a great job over previous versions in eliminating unnecessary lines and scaffolding in the UI, (Thank you very much!).  I just want to take it a step further.

You might want to change the dialog font, and also adjust the size of the Tool Window tab icon:

Tools > Options > Appearance > Fonts > Dialog, Document Tabs, Command Line, Status Line
Tools > Options > Appearance > Tool Window and Toolbar Options > Button Size, Tab Icon Size

You might also consider getting a bigger monitor.  :-)
