Brief emulation window closing broken
« on: September 11, 2017, 01:52:35 pm »
Slickedit standard 2016 V21.0.3.0 64bit

Using the F4 keys to close tiled windows in brief emulation is now broken.
It fails to close the window in the direction indicated by the arrow key.
It works SOMETIMES, but fails a lot

You can only untile in the same direction you created the tile. This is a limitation. You'll see this limitation only when you have both horizontally and vertically split windows. Probably seems like an easy fix but it's not even close to easy.

Easy?
Brief did it in 1990's on a 80x86...perhaps a programmer or two from them could be consulted about it?
Sounds like lazyness to me, why have 'Brief' support if you don't actually have it?
