Not sure about updated search function

Is there a setting to restore the way the search function worked in SE 17?  For instance, I would often set it to list and highlight all occurrences.  Now it seems that I have to select this mode very time and it always defaults to finding the next.  This is painful when searching the entire workspace.

Are you referring to the Find and Replace Tool Window found in v17?  You can go back to using the Find and Replace Tool window by going to  Options > Editing > Search > Additional options > Default Find and Replace GUI and set it from Mini to Tool Window.
