crash in 22.0.0.9 when typing ( in python
« on: October 27, 2017, 02:47:41 pm »
I was editing a python file and typed an open parenthesis, SE crashed.

You can download the core dump from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7AlniF_4GyYU3JfTklHUkxNc3c

I was not able to reproduce it, only happened one time.

It occurred in Linux x64 on Centos with SE 22.0.0.9 x64

Forgot to update this, we are looking into this.  It's one of those dumps where the problem happened a while before it actually crashed, but it's enough to work from.  We'll let you know once we have an update or fixes for you to try out.

OK, thanks for the update. I have not been able to reproduce since it happened though. So far was a one time event. The open paren was for a function call if that helps.
