Unable to see underscore in Find in files
« on: September 30, 2017, 04:13:13 PM »
I was trying to make a Find in files, and the Look in text field hides underscores, they are below the visible area, so to speak, so one could visually interpret an underscore as the space sign. The text field's height seems too small for the font size. This was observed for both Linux and Windows.

Reproduced on Windows but only when using Dark theme. Seems to be a general problem with auto sizing the height of the combo box when using a Dark theme.

Thanks for posting!

macOS has a problem too. You can see underlines but the bottom of a lower case "y" or "g" is clipped off (same problem). I didn't test Linux but I'm not surprised it has the same issue.
