HighDPI && Multimon && Dragging
« on: October 03, 2017, 03:02:24 PM »
As before, one monitor is high DPI and the other isn't.
HighDPI monitor is positioned below the low dpi monitor, low dpi (external) monitor is primary.

Slick on high dpi monitor.

#1
Edit tool bar docked to the top of slickedit.
I grab it and drag it up to the low dpi monitor.
The toolbar becomes invisible as I drag it onto the lowdpi monitor (at about the point you would expect the scaling to change).
This only happens when I drag a toolbar that is docked.
If I undock it first, this doesn't happen.

#2
Undock edit.
Drag it (slowly) to lowdpi monitor.

Again, drag edit around on lowdpi monitor - drag quickly and it disappears. I have to use view-> ToolBars to close edit and open it again to get it back - as doing that puts it back docked on slick main window.

This happens with tool windows as well -- quickly dragging on the lowdpi monitor causes them to vanish. Slowly dragging usually works.

#2: This problem is due to the window moving at a different rate than the mouse.
Easier to see in the reverse case - slick on Lowdpi dragging toolbar on highdpi monitor.
The mouse pointer moves faster than the window being dragged.
