I figure that these things are probably up to Microsoft to fix, but if there is anything SlickEdit could do, it would be appreciated. I would be happy to write some macros myself if someone could point me where I need to go.
1) Whenever I open SlickEdit's help window, it always opens with the same default size, which is way too small for my screen size, so I always wind up dragging the bottom right corner to make it a more useful size. It should remember the last size it was open at and try to restore that, and only use the default size if the restored size is too big for the current screen.
2) This is the really annoying one. When I open a help window using a context help button, the window opens at the right place in the help file. But the window is too small, and I have to drag the bottom right corner as usual. As I drag, I can see the position of the text I want scrolling up rapidly out of the window, and by the time I have finished dragging, it is long gone and can be quite difficult to find again in a large page of help. So I may have to go back to the help button I used to open the help window and click it again.
