Java debugger watches?

Is this a known issue? Watches don't work at all.

They always display "**Symbol not found in this scope**" even when the symbol is obviously present.

Here's a trivial one. When debugging this app remotely, no watches work, and the Autos/Locals/Members don't work either. For most normal cases, these work, but the watches still don't.

Using your project, I only had to instruct the compiler to generate debug info (Build->Java Options->Compiler), after that setting watches and inspecting variables worked as expected.
