Dear SlickEdit developers,

I am missing a small feature that would be quite helpful:
when the cursor is hovering over a constant, SlickEdit will show the constant definition, but the value is not shown. So you always have to jump to the definition and jump back.
It would be much easier if SlickEdit could show the definition in the hoverbox.

Example:
Code: [Select]
const boost::uint8_t TOKENS_COUNT_RAW_SHORT_COMMAND = 3;

The hoverbox will just show the definition, i.e. "const boost::uint8_t TOKENS_COUNT_RAW_SHORT_COMMAND", see attached screenshot. The value "3" is not shown.

Especially for C++ it should also be considered that the value for a static constant might not be found in the header file, but in the cpp file (e.g. a std::string constant).

Would be great if this feature could be added.

Best regards

Elmar

I can add this for the next release.  Probably not for pointers and references though.
