core dump in 22.0.1 on Jan 22 2018 in linux x64 centos
« on: January 02, 2018, 08:46:20 pm »
Got a core dump today.

Uploaded a text file with a link to the core dump to support.slickedit.com under core-180102.txt.

I had build_last.log opened, at line 679 (with soft wrap on), I tried to highlight the "libShell" of "libShell.a" and it crashed.

This was with 22.0.1 on linux x64, centos 7.

Downloaded the dump, so you you can take it down if you need to.  Taking a look at it.

Was the build_last.log just in Plain Text mode?

Yes, I think it was in plain text mode. I'm also unable to reproduce the issue - so the crash probably depended on more than just the highlighting that I wrote about.

I uploaded a file called "testconsole.log" to support. I think this is what was in the build window at the time of the crash. You can "cat testconsole.log" in the process buffer to try and reproduce. Then open the build_last.log file and do the highlight, see if crash happens again.
