Search / Search-and-Replace without UI

For the longest time, when I would search, the input was all done on the status line at the bottom.  I'm sure there was a setting I made some ancient version ago.

Now, that's gone.  I have the choice of the tiny UI or the full UI.  Can someone help me get no-UI as an option back?

Try going to Tools>Options and selecting Keyboard and Mouse>Advanced.  Change "Command line prompting" to on.
