Making SlickEdit forget a file's encoding
« on: May 28, 2007, 01:03:27 pm »
I sometimes need to look at a Unicode file in binary.  The problem is that Slickedit remembers this and from then on always opens the file in binary until I manually set the encoding back to Automatic on the Open dialog.  While the file is open (in binary) can I do something to make it open in Automatic the next time?  I'm looking at vsFileDetermineEncoding but there doesn't seem to be a VSENCODING_ constant for Automatic.
