Installing hotfix resets auto update option

Nosh:
Every time I install a hotfix "Help->Product Updates->Load Hot Fix..." the "Automatically check for updates" option is reset to "Once per day".
Is this intentionally or a bug?

Reproduced. The setting is getting overridden by the AutoUpdate setting in 'Admin.xml' in the root installation folder (e.g. c:\program files\SlickEdit Pro 22.0.2). Edit the file (you will need Administrator/root rights) and set check="0" on the AutoUpdate element.
