This is the first time I'd really had a need to use this Window to adjust my environment for the project. Although I was greeted with the expected vim oriented editor, I found that it never exited command mode to actually type in any new text. I can paste, delete, navigate, but can't seem to insert (I/i), or append (A/a), or open a new line (O/o). Although, it is interesting that the latter does create a new line (above or below), but any subsequent characters typed are ex commands, not new text.
