Short minimap

I have a 9 line text file (*.sh) loaded
when I toggle minimap off then on, it is very short without a vertical splitter.

What's the trick to make this happen? I haven't been able to make this happen.

I do not have a reliable repro, but it seems to just happen sometimes with short files.
