Windows 10 - Unable to create ftp local path

I'm trying to remotely edit a sequential data set on z/OS with slickedit 2017 running on windows 10 but receive the following error

Unable to create ftp local path "c:\Users\<user name>\Documents\My SlickEdit\Config\22.0.2\ftp\<machine name>\<user name>.". Error creating directory entry

The first time I try to edited a sequential dataset it works, the second time it fails with the above error. If I delete the directory <user name>. then the edit works.
