This might be considered a feature request, but it could also be considered "maintaining behavioral consistency".

When performing an add-multiple-cursor-up|down, it would be nice to have behavior similar to selecting a block of text (shift+up|down-arrow). For example, if you shift+down-arrow 10 lines, but that is a bit too much and you shift+up-arrow, it shortens the selected block. With add-multiple-cursor-up|down, if you add-multiple-cursor-down 10 lines, but that is a bit too much and you add-multiple-cursor-up, it doesn't subtract a multiple cursor, it just walks back up the ladder until you are adding more cursors at the top of your selection.
