Background tagging indicator not lit up while tagging going on

Just changed a preprocessor symbol and now my project is retagging in the background.
However the indicator in the lower right for background tagging is not lit up, and when I click on it it says "There are no active background processes". However I do see in the status bar "Tagging (XXX remaining)" going on with XXX constantly going down.

In beta6 the indicator is lit up, but when I hover over it, it says "Background tagging has completed", however it is not true, I can see on the status bar and clicking the indicator that the background tagging is ongoing.

I have not been able to reproduce this problem. Remind me, what platform are you on?

Linux x64, Centos 7.2
I sent a VirtualBox VM a while back for the lldb issue that is very close to my environment with CentOS 7.2
