How to use windbg for single file projects on Windows
« on: October 25, 2018, 08:53:24 pm »
Running SE2018 on Windows 10 64-bit with Visual Studio 2017 and Debugging Tools for Windows installed.

How would I configure a single file project to use windbg for debugging?  By default it loads Visual Studio via the devenv command.  I notice that windbg is an option in the debugger options but this has no effect, presumably as the debug command is set to run devenv.

I also notice that if I use the debug menu and select debug executable using (windbg) that I lose the source window and I can't find a way to get it back.
