DIFF Backspace in column one not deleting line-break
« on: January 18, 2019, 09:56:32 AM »
In old version of DIFF I can press BACKSPACE, when in column 1, to remove previous line-break and join the two lines. In current version pressing BACKSPACE in column 1 does nothing.

I have found that this happens on .SQL files but if I rename them to .TXT I can do backspace-in-column-1

is it a CONFIG thing?

I can go to end of the first line and press DELETE, but that also deletes any leading whitespace from second line.  This was also the case with old version of SlickEdit, hence I previously used BACKSPACE from column-1 method.

If I could Config DELETE to NOT delete whitespace from following-line, when removing line-break, that would work fine for me.

I think it's a bug, but it should be hotfixable.

This is fixed in the next hotfix.
