Edit Token mapping
« on: February 01, 2019, 07:02:23 PM »
DiffZilla used to have Token mapping --- pretty cool feature, now gone.
To be fair, it was inconvenient at best to use.

DZ could dynamically create mapping candidates.

For example, when comparing a set of files where I've done a bunch of symbol renames, DZ will highlight these with intraline highlights.
If DZ enters each of these into a histogram, then displays that in a list with check boxes (sorted by most frequent occurrence), the user could then show/hide each of the most popular intraline diffs by setting those check boxes.

This would have to work for multifile diffs to be most useful.
