See attached screenshot.

How to change this so that it is easier to read?

Double-click is doing a select-word in most emulations, so it is Selection color.

That is what we thought too, but nothing in the preview matches, see attached screenshot.

When I double-click, the selection color seems to change part way through. See attached video.

Which selection colors does this correspond to from the "Selection" color menu?

There also seems to be a bug in the "select-word" macro, only selects part of the word, see attached video.

Do you have highlight symbols under cursor enabled?  If so check the Symbol Highlight color.

Select-word depends on your word-chars being correct.  There is also an option for doing partial words (so that it only selects part of a symbol connected by underscores or in camel case.

Tools > Options...

Enter search text:  symbol highlight

First match is "Colors", scroll down the list to "Highlighting" category, it is the last item in the list.

It also matches every language's "Context Tagging" options, jump to that for your language of choice, or "All Languages"

Under "Preview, Highlighting, and Completion", uncheck "Highlight matching symbols under cursor"

OK - but I do want to highlight matching symbols under the cursor. So now I understand better and I see that the preview in Symbol Highlight colors matches what I'm seeing and I should be able to change it.
