SE 23.0.1.2 Java automatic import broken
« on: March 07, 2019, 06:53:31 pm »
The automatic Java import generation is sticking the import statement into the wrong place, either directly after the line that triggers the import, or at the end of the file (varies). This may have started with 23.0.1.0, I can't recall for sure.

Code: [Select]
package somepackage;
public class someclass {
  private File [triggers import]
}

produces this

Code: [Select]
package somepackage;
public class someclass {
  private File
}
import java.io.File;

I hope this is hot fixable.  I am constantly moving imports from the bottom of the file to where they belong, usually right after hitting Ctrl-M and getting a bunch of compilation errors.

Thanks for the reminder.  This will be fixed in the next hot fix for 23.0.1.
