Setting hot keys to standard windows keys
« on: June 18, 2019, 02:56:23 pm »
Hi,

I know this question must already be answered, but I don't know how to search for it.

How do we set the hot key configuration, so that the Standard Windows Hotkeys are active?  So e.g., Search Next would be F3, instead of <Ctrl>G ; and Close file would be <Ctrl>W.

You can change a keybinding here: Tools>Options>Keyboard and Mouse>Key Bindings

Commands names are close-window and find-next

Depending on what editor you are used to, you might want to start with an emulation that is close to that.  CodeWarrior emulation happens to share the same bindings for those two keys you mention.  CUA and Visual Studio 6 emulation are also close, but you would have to rebind F3.

Tools > Options > Keyboard and Mouse > Emulation
