The Number floating window displays the content twice. How do I close it or remove the extra content.As shown in the attached image.

Are you on version 23.0.2?  If so, that's taken care of with the latest hotfix, which you can download from here: https://customer.slickedit.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=296
