[Debin 10] Blank License Screen
« on: September 20, 2019, 04:39:36 pm »
When I attempt to install the license file I get an error saying it cannot copy the license file due to permission problems.  It says to run with sudo.  When I run with sudo I get a blank dialog box (see attachment). If I manually copy the command it does work and the HMI will open.  I would say this is not a huge problem unless it reveals something more.

I am running:
Debian 10
GNOME 3.30.2 with X11 (not wayland)

We do have that happen for some systems when you run as root.  If you run the installer from a terminal, it will see that you cancelled out and print out instructions on how to install the license manually.

All you should need to do is copy your license file to YOUR_INSTALL_LOCATION/bin/slickedit.lic, and you should be good to go.
