source diff problem in 23.0.0.11
« on: October 09, 2019, 02:12:00 am »
In slick v23.0.0.11 source diff gives spurious diffs if a left brace has been moved from the end of a line to column one on the next line.  The diff indicates there's a real difference with the right hand window showing the "before" and the left hand window showing the "after".  The right hand window doesn't actually show the right brace  - but it should  - and it shouldn't treat it as a difference.
I don't have time to test in slick V24 - sorry.

now on another project - it's having even worse problems  -  beautify to leave one blank line between functions, source diff seems to have problems where blank lines have disappeared.  A whole word (void) from the next blank line slick thinks has disappeared and on another one it thinks "uchar" is now just "r" at the start of a line.  I just tried non source diff with ignoring spaces and it gets the same problem.

Have you tried this in 24.0?
