Cannot step through code with SE v24.0.0.8 gdb debugging?
« on: October 09, 2019, 04:38:31 am »
There seems to be an issue with SE v24.0.0.8 and stepping through code when using the setjmp() function. This was NOT an issue with SE v23.0.2.0.

Running SE v24.0.0.8 64-bit on Ubuntu 18.04.

Attached is an example SE workspace using gcc v7.4.0, gdb v8.1 (although I have also tried the SlickEdit gdb as well). The example wraps the call to setjmp() in a C macro. When debugging on SE v23, you can step through the macro to the function foo() with no issues (using the "Step into Next Statement (Will Step into Runtimes)" button). With SE v24, stepping through the macro to foo() keeps popping up the dialog "Find Source for _setjump()" and will not step through to foo().

I will take a look into it.  Not sure why there should be a difference between v23 and v24.
