Edit buffer tabs should be sorted case insensitive
« on: November 05, 2019, 04:01:18 pm »
When I have multiple edit buffers opened, I notice that the sorting, left to right, is not case insensitive.

File names starting with capital letters will be to the left of file names with lower case letters.

For example, File.c would be to the left of abc.c. But for usability point of view I think that File.c should be to the right of abc.c (case insensitive).

Just as a note for the forum, this should only happen on Linux (where files are case-sensitive).

Nevertheless, this is a bug.  I will put in a fix for the next release to sort the document tabs case-insensitive, regardless of platform.  I agree that is more usable and consistent.  Good catch.
