I got latest slickedit installe on Win7, and not able open some HTML files, double clicking on "Open" Tool,
causes it to display "Error Opening File: Code page not installed or not valid:C:\xx\acm.htm" on bottom right corner.

I upgraded from slickedit 2011, and I never had this problem before.

Try deleting perfile.xml and vrestore.slk in your config directory. You must exit SlickEdit before deleting these files.

You may also have some encoding history in your workspace history files -- .vpwhist/.vpwhistu files. You may need to deleting those too.
