Open a python file that Pylint complains about.
In the left side gutter, click one of the yellow triangles.
This selects the current line in the editor, and also selected the corresponding line in the MessageList.
Now in the message list double click on a message for a different line in the same buffer.
Unexpected: The buffer selection is now extended, instead of just moving the cursor to the new location.
