RC1, MacOS, Can't paste path in "Go to the folder" dialog

(1/1)

tuchman:
AFAIK, this has been a problem in 2019 version as well.
Pain threshold just happened to be exceeded in this version.

Can be easily reproduced.
1. Create empty file (new_file)
2. Attempt to save file (Cmd-s)
-> "Save As" edit field contains "Untitled"
3. Enter forward slash in Save As edit field.
->This raises the "Go to the folder:" dialog
5. Try Copy/Paste operations in edit field
-> Copy paste not possible - only hear error bell

Thanks in advance!

Dennis:
Reproduced and filed.  This is a native dialog, so that makes the problem a bit more intriguing.  Thanks for reporting this.

tuchman:
You might consider looking at BBEdit's "save as" dialog.
Copy/Paste works as expected there.

Dennis:
Thanks again for reporting this.  Little details like this matter.  This will be fixed in the next release of SlickEdit (either 25.0.2 or 26.0.0).
