It would be great if there were a portable slick install --- let me copy a single, reasonably sized folder, to a 2nd machine and have it work.
1: Protecting my slick license
I found that C:\ProgramData\slickedit\25\slickedit.lic is not locked to a machine - I can just copy it around.
a: It could be unique per machine to prevent easily just copying it around
b: Optional password protection - so I can use slick on a machine that I don't have exclusive access to. Slick would prompt, (once a day?) when started for a password.
2: A way to create a zip file with all the essential bits for running slickedit.
Including the program itself and configuration (not including vsdelta, tag files, other machine specific stuff).
