caps lock status on the bottom start bar

Is it possible to view the status of "caps lock" or "num lock" on the bottom status where the line num, Col, REC etc are displayed?

Any solution? My keyboard does not have lights for caps lock or num lock.

We do not have that feature, however, Dell ships a nice little free tool for Windows that you can dock in the corner of your screen which shows the num, caps, and scroll lock statuses.  It will minimize itself into the notification area when not active.  It is not restricted to just Dell products, as it works fine with my Toshiba notebook with a wired Bakker-Elkhuizen keyboard.
