Setting beautifier settings for a project?
« on: April 14, 2021, 11:53:54 AM »
Is there a way to set a beautifier set on a project (if not can I request it)?  Adaptive formatting gets linux kernel files tabs wrong even when I reset tab on the doc.  Setting beautifier to a linux set fixes this.  I asked this some years ago but clearly failed to pay attention to the answer.  I don't want to have to add files to the source tree.

At the moment, there's no way to do this without adding config files to your source tree. Beautifier Profile Overrides... (Tools>Beautifier>Beautifier Profile Overrides..) requires files underneath your source tree. Often you just need one config file at the root of some source tree.
