Save Visible Lines
« on: July 19, 2007, 08:35:09 pm »
I'm probably just getting senile, but I'd swear that SE v11 had the ability to edit->select->visible lines and then File->Write Selection... would allow you to save just what was visible in the selective display.  I can't find that ability (or any way to save the results of a selective display) in v12.  Was this possible in v11?  More importantly, I guess, can it be done in V12?

Hi,

I don't recall a feature to save visible lines. However, there is copy-selective-display (View > Copy Visible). The command copies selected and visible lines to the clipboard. (You need to have a selection, as well as selective display.)

Hope this helps.
