Old push-ref issue still navigating to wrong spot in source code

After doing a push-ref sometime clicking on an item will navigate to the wrong location within the source file. This issue was last reported here as far as I know:

Unfortunately, it still seems to be in the SE 2021. Any chance there is any way of tracking this bug down? I have to use the workaround Dennis suggested many times a day.

It is a hard one to reproduce consistently, but it is still on my radar.
