They're sorted by path so just select the ones you want to remove and click the remove button.  You can use shift click to select the files  - also shift page-down.

Another way is to use the project tool-window and set folder view as directory, then select all the files in that directory and click remove in the menu.

Thank you.
But I found that if there are too many files, I can only delete files in one directory in the project window, not the parent directory.
I find this inconvenient.
Why you can't delete the entire directory as directly as source insight.

If you haven't already, try the project tool-window  - View -> Toolwindows -> Projects.

Or right click in an edit window and select "show file in projects tool window".  Then right click on a project filename, under "folder view" select "directory view".  You should be able to select multiple files across different folders.

I tried this method, but could only delete files in one directory at a time. Like the Uboot code, there are too many directories, only two or three files in one directory, is there another way to delete multiple directories? Thank you very much for your reply

You could edit the project file manually.  Close slickedit and open the vpj in notepad or something, then find folder nodes that you want to delete.  Maybe back up the vpj first.  Or else close the workspace in slick then open up the vpj file  - then slick backup history will remember what you changed.

what version of slickedit are you using?
The project toolwindow lets me remove multiple files at a time - see attachment.

If you had added the directory tree as a wildcard, you could use exclusions to kick out directories that you do not want.
