So I noticed that in a *.py file highlighting (shift-arrow selection highlights) was offset.
If I close and reopen the file, then it is fixed.
If I close the workspace and reopen so Slick restores the *.py file, then I get this problem.
I attached a ZIP file with a sequence of screenshots showing this problem.
Start with the cursor at the top of the file, then the progression, pressing Ctrl+Shift+RightArrow several times.
