windows explorer file associations
« on: October 03, 2021, 10:46:59 am »
FYI, with beta 4.
On latest Win 10, with windows explorer, in an empty folder, right click -> new ->  second bottom in the list is a Notepad++ icon with the text "SlickEdit" beside it.  If I create a new text file and double click it, it opens in Notepad++.  If I right click the file and select open with I get a choice of two slickedit pro 2021 items plus  a few others.

In Windows settings file associations, for the txt extension, windows initially didn't give me any useful options but after I did the open with thing, it now gives me a choice of the 5 things in the right click menu.  The extension .dart doesn't appear at all.  Looks like you have to use regedit to change some of these things in Windows.
