cursor up/down change in v26

I'm running SlickEdit 2021 (v26.0.0.6) on Windows x64. When I move the cursor up at the top of the window (or down at the bottom), the cursor line is repositioned to the center of the window (with file scrolled by 1/2 the window size). In v25, the file is scrolled down/up by one line and the cursor stays at the top/bottom of the window.

I can't find an option to control this behavior. Is there one that would revert to the v26 behavior? I find the current mode very irritating.

Tools>Options>Appearance>General>Smooth vertical scroll.  Set to ON

Odd. It was already on. I turned it off and back on, and now it's working as expected.
