FTP remote edit : how can I avoid 'upload' confirmation ?
« on: November 06, 2021, 09:11:17 AM »
Hello,
I wanted to try the FTP remote edit feature of SlickEdit today but it seems to still suffer from systematic prompt for upload confirmation each time you want to save the file.
I would like to be able to edit a ftp remote file (I can do this) and save it without confirmation.
Is this possible with some setting I might have missed ?
Regards.
Jerome

You can set the behavior from FTP Default Options, General tab.

Is there a way to avoid the progress window that appears and disappear ?
It would be better to have this kind of background operation be indicated within slickedit status bar for instance ?

Not currently. I have filed a feature request for it.
