Squished icons

Just noticed my toolbar (customised) has flattened icons. The attached screencap shows V26 behind with V24.2 on top to show that the toolbar dimensions haven't changed.

I enabled the standard toolbar and the icons on that were correct (despite showing at the same time as my toolbar). I then disabled my toolbar and re-enabled it but the icons remain squished.

Could you send your user.cfg.xml and userToolbars.xml from your Slickedit configuration directory (along with any supporting bitmaps I am going to need to reproduce the problem).

The toolbar isn't anything special in the way of customised icons - it's just a shorter version of the standard toolbar with a couple of items from other toolbars, so uses the Slickedit icons.

Sorry, it took me a while to circle back to this one.  I did not request enough data to reproduce the problem.  Could you zip up "*.e" from your 24.0.2 configuration directory?  (that is where the custom toolbar form definitions are)  And also what platform were you seeing this issue on?

No problem - I suspect there may be a few other issues with bigger  impact

I checked in a hot fix.  The problem traced back to the old user-defined forms having an incorrect value for p_Nofstates.  Since these forms are loaded when the configuration is migrated, it is a bit late for the hot fix to really help you.

The best way for you to fix this issue (you do not really need the hot fix) is to open <config>/vusrobjs.e and replace "p_Nofstates=2" with "p_Nofstates=1" for all the icons in the user-defined toolbars.  Then run the macro as follows from the SlickEdit command line:

xcom <config>/vusrobjs.e
Then if you go to View > Toolbars and undock the toolbar(s) which is/are squished and then go there again to redock the toolbar; it should then display correctly.  It might be easier to just close and re-open the editor.  That should take care of it.
