Preview not working when source is floating
« on: January 14, 2022, 07:27:22 am »
Not sure if it's duplicate, but when I have the document not in the main MDI but floating then the Preview doesn't work.

That is intentional.  When docked, a preview window will operate on the current active editor window in the same group.  If floating, a preview window will operate on any current active editor window.  This behavior holds true for several tool windows (Defs, Class, Highlight, etc).  If you were to dock another instance of the Preview tool window with your floating editor window, it would keep up with that window.
